LockNet is seeking a Project Manager for our Architectural Door and Hardware Department. This position plays a vital role in the organization by coordinating all division 8 & 10 quotes, submittals, order entry, and customer delivery schedules for assigned accounts, as well as one-off assignments as needed.

Essential Duties:

Reviewing plans/specifications to prepare and submit quotes

Researching and coordinating any special/custom requirements for quotes and jobs

Monitoring key dates (i.e. quote due dates, job release dates, ship dates, etc.)

Completing initial setup of jobs upon receipt of purchase orders by

  • Detailing jobs.
  • Identifying preliminary ship dates and site super contact information.
  • Preparing submittals/drawings as required.

Completing order processing within the job code system by

  • Entering orders, scheduling shipments.
  • Releasing jobs into production.
  • Managing and confirming ship dates with site contacts.
  • Reviewing updated plans and submitting changes for approval as needed.
  • Managing change orders as needed.

Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:
  • College degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project Manager
  • Comprehensive understanding of architectural door and hardware vendors, part numbers/nomenclature, and product applications
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
