LockNet is seeking a high-energy Associate to work in our dynamic Shipping Department. As a Shipping Associate, you would impact the company by inspecting finished products to ensure accuracy and quality control and preparing the products for shipment to the customer.

You would make valuable contributions by:

  • Printing orders, pulling products, and accurately packing orders to fulfill daily shipment requirements
  • Keeping and verifying order packaging records on shipments
  • Properly packing smaller products to prevent damage during shipping process
  • Inspecting parts prior to shipment to ensure quality
  • Providing internal team members with support to assist in meeting daily shipment requirements.
  • Exhibiting attention to detail in tracking, printing and entering information on a computer database for shipment packaging and products.

Your job-specific tasks would also include entry-level responsibilities such as:

  • Communicating in detail with Team Leaders and other team members to ensure synchronicity in job order completion
  • Prioritize and manage time effectively to complete each assigned task within a fast-paced environment.
  • Exemplify standards of excellence through ensuring the accuracy and quality of products and shipments.
  • Administering and adhering to safety policies, and performing other duties as assigned.

Shipping Associate Skills/Requirements

If you are a proficient communicator, experienced with working on a computer and within systems, and are strong at effectively organizing and executing responsibilities in a time and space efficient manner, then this may be an excellent position for you.

Here at LockNet, we constantly move through the Shipping Department, frequently lifting up to 25lbs throughout the day. We need to maneuver our products around for quality inspection before shipment, so attention to detail is crucial. This position stands in one place to detail and review the orders for accuracy and/or have work-related conversations in person and on the phone on a regular basis and will also have some movement throughout a smaller area of products. Dexterity of hands and fingers are needed to operate standard computer keyboard, office equipment, telephone, forklift and for handling materials.
